Leadership Rules

Leadership is an art of how to motivate your subordinates to boost the output along with not compromising the self-esteem of the team. Leadership is not a job, it’s actually not a status that you achieve through experience. It’s an attitude, yes, it’s your attitude that makes you a leader and appears as leadership qualities.

There are two types of leadership. You can be a leader of your self and you can also be a leader of other people. Everyone has the capability to lead his/her self with verifications on how everyone leads him/her self, but everyone does not have the capability to lead others. Understand with care, can’t lead other the way you are leading yourself, because everyone is a self-leader, so, people will be impressed by your attitude if that is something different that they are not observing in their own self. Hope the reader has picked this point.

Let’s focus on the matter of how to build that attitude that can impress others and make them follow you. You can change your thoughts and change your world. Here you have to answer these questions to yourself.

  1. Can you take a decision in an emergency and stood on that?
  2. Can you tell others with confident what you have done?
  3. Can you face the blame on your work confidently?
  4. Can you make your subordinate work on something that is not clear to you still?
  5. Can you go out of the box to do something extraordinary?
  6. Are you satisfied with the decisions previously taken by you?

If the answers to these questions are “YES”, you have leadership skills. If your answers are “NO”, you must work hard enough to answers these questions in “YES”.

Look around yourself, people are not actually impressed by your education and how good looking are you. They are impressed by the way you are working in the organization. They are impressed with your conversations, they are impressed with your decisions, they are impressed with the way you react to your boss’s query and they are impressed with the way you have tackled the difficult situations. Once you have impressed your colleagues, your subordinates are not going anywhere else to get dictation except you.

    Good job..
    making right decision is difficult but making a decision itself is not easy ..one can’t choose between two sides.. if both seem similar.. .and that’s the crux of a leader’s ability.

    Point 1…i think some people don’t have power to take quick decisions but when they take, they do their best…
    It is said haste makes waste and sometimes people who take quick decisions make mistake which lasts forever….
    So it does not matter that u are taking decisions late or early but yes it matters alot that u take the right decision, so leader is a person who take right decision not quick..
